Or perhaps a bit of both. She's asking about using SuSE 8.2 & Konqueror. However, until we know more about the other end, there's not much more we can do.

My apologies if I'm reading the question wrong, but I'm not sure it's a Linux question as much as a free pic hosting question.
Are these sites helpful? http://photos.yahoo.com/ http://picturecenter.kodak.com/

Dear All,
I was wondering if there is a way to upload one's digital camera photos to a webpage forum that one belongs to without having a webpage of your own. Is there a way such as in Konqueror to do this or is there a linux app to do this with? I have Suse 8.2 and a Sony digital camera that works well with Suse 8.2.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
I have an HP camera, which appears to my computer as a USB attached drive. This means it's simply a matter of moving the image file to the web site, the same way as you would, if it were on your hard drive.
But she doesn't have a web site of her own..... so moving an image to a remote web site is a bit more of a problem.
Dear All,
Thank you for your help on this. I decided to go with www.photostep.com. I found them through a yolinux website link, I think. They are simple and work with mozilla and other browers without extra software to download. They may not hold alot of photos for you(unless you pay), but as of now I only needed something small and easy. I will check out your other suggestions if I need to do more. On the other end of it;the website I wished to link my photos in, they had an image button that you only need to push. After which you put the url address of your photo into the box and then your link will be added to the forum email. It is elementary and works well. Thanks for the help. As I think about it I would rather do it from a website like this than from a local file in Konqueror anyway. Again thanks for the suggestions. Marcia
