After my daughter's PC developed problems, I decided to install Linux and crossover office and in the process discovered it was a bad DIMM. Now I have Linux as /dev/hda1 and Windows as /dev/hdc1. When I boot in grub and select Windows, it comes back to the menu and boots only Linux. I wonder if my suspicion that Windows (98SE) needs to be on /dev/hda1 is correct, grub is set correctly to boot Windows from (hd1,0). Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ....
