I want to have a play with LINUX using the live-eval version but I need a little help.
1. I have a Promise RAID0 array, I see that the Live-Eval can't handle that. What about the full version?
2. The download of the live-eval iso image threatens to take 4 hours on my 600K broadband connection, mirror site I've tried seems to take less but downloads the file with an html extension and if I rename it to .iso, NERO doesn't like it.
3. It looks like Microshaft users are being lured away, it's a good aim but are there some detailed step-by-step guides? I'm fairly PC savvy but I'm lost with this so far. It's enough to put off the faint hearted.
When you download (useing windows), right click on the file and then click 'save to' and the file should save as an .iso. HTH. Mike
