You have specified too many directories. You need to lop off the /suse/i586 from the paths. The Yast updater adds them implicitly. That's also why you can't use the rpms at kde.org. I think this odd behavior is derived from the structure of the distribution CDs. A most understandable mistake. Paul Abrahams
