I have a boxed set of SuSE 9 Professional.
Just tried to install it on a desktop here and libart_lgpl, cups-drivers, and openh323 all failed to load, despite repeated retries and running repair twice the problem is not corrected -- and when I attempt to run kde from the prompt it fails.
Is it reasonable to presume that the cause must be a defective production CD?
Thanks! doc
I'd say so OM, you might download the packages from the SuSE ftp site, install them and see if it makes a difference. Any clues in /var/log/messages? Regards Sid.
I will have to do that at the office since at 28k dialup here in the woods it would take forever! I do have a copy of SuSE 9 LiveEval on CD, I wonder if that would have the matching replacement files? doc -- Wars and rumors of wars, disasters, and social decay, yet undaunted for love and peace we pray.
