Hi,
Installing SuSE was very easy. But there is some problems. No ACPI. But APM works when I boot with ACPI =OFF parameter. Second problem is that I can not use wireless with DHCP. When I disable DHCP and enter machine IP, Gateway and DNS servers manually everything works. But when I configure it to use DHCP, there is no route and no DNS (because when I enter route manually I can ping outside but cannot go with url's).. Where I must start to find out what is wrong and how can I correct that.
With eth0 there is no such problems. It gets all from DHCP correct. But when I connect cable in before starting PC or restart PC with cable connected, sometimes computer hangs on getting info from DHCP.
Could it be DHCP server (SMC Barricade router) problem.
Thanks.

Could it be that your sever is not using DHCP? Sounds like you have a static setup to me, if you can enter your info manually and it works. DHCP is not useful, I don't believe, with static IPs. Someone correct me if that is not correct. Lee -- --- KMail v1.5.4 --- SuSE Linux Pro v9.0 --- Registered Linux User #225206 On any other day, that might seem strange...
