Hi, for canon BJC-2100, it is still working fine, even though if you print from open office sometimes you find some difficulties in margin. For the laser, any HP working fine. For inkjet, Canon BJC-2100, BJC S800, BJC 210SP, BJC 1000. For dot matrix, EPSON LX-300, FX-1070, LQ-2170, LQ-1170, I use generic driver. What else do you need? Fergus Wilde wrote:

To ALL: I need to know what printers actually work with Linux, Suse 9.0, in particular. The printer compatibility listing does not seem to cover any, at least that is what it said the last time I checked, today!!! I have a Canon BJC-2100 but already know that Canon will not supply any driver and that, having had my Linux SIG Leader, who deals with SuSe all the time, try to make it work to no avail. However, his suggestion for a printer meets with a deadend with stores around here, (Tacoma, Washington)! I need to know which Epson or HP will actually work, right out of the box. I went and looked a severa models of both, and none say anything about any compatibility except with Windows and MAC! So, now what do I do? :-\ --
Check out www.linuxprinting.org, first off - from experience, HP Laserjets works nicely. We have some LaserJet 6p models, and I imagine whatever's replaced them in HP's range will be good.
