Greetings,
How can I make SuSE 8.2 recognize my 2 mice at the same time - the built in one in my laptop (PS/2) and an external USB connected mouse?
Right now, I have to use YAST2 to re-define my mouse settings if I start up the computer without the USB mouse connected because the built in one is not recognized, and vice versa.
Regards,
I am running 2 mice at the same time, both in Windows and v8.2. One is a Logitech Trackball and the other an A4Tech cordless (RF). Both are USB. SuSE (and Windows) just recognised the second one (the A4Tech) when I hooked it up and... it started to work. I can use either one depending on my mood. (Only thing, if using 2 USB mice do NOT have both on the same USB port otherwise only 1 will work.) Until you asked the Q (above) , I haven't even bothered to look at how they are both setup in the XF86 control file. Must go and have a look. -- Understanding only begins with the act of perception.
