Yes, and I'll be very surprised if they don't get the contract. There are other important converts as well in Europe, like Ford, which dumped MickySoft on over 10,000 workstations and servers awhile ago, replacing M$ with Linux.
I'd really like it proven that MickySoft is behind SCO. IF someone in the right position digs deep enough, someone at SCO or MickySoft will talk. I'm certain that IBM would/will win in court, however, at this point in time, it might be better if IBM simply bought out SCO and then RELEASED ALL of the SCO code under GPL. 'Better to just be done with it.
I hope it is. But I'd really like IBM to take them to the cleaners first, so that they are incapable of starting up again, and then buy the IP for release. And as a sidenote, both stocks are dropping today. SCO took an almost 20% hit, and m$ about 2% so far. Damn the bad luck. Mike
