I'm running a Logitech WebCam Pro 4000 on SuSE 8.1 (pro). Here's the steps I had to take to get it working. I know it's a differant model than your but If my internal RAM serves they use the same driver. get the appropoiate driver from: http://www.smcc.demon.nl/webcam/release.html Place the files in your linux kernel source dir (after a tarball backup I'd reccomend!). Run a make cloneconfig, make dep, make modules cp the modified modules to your /lib/modules/kernel-version dir (again after a tarball backup) That should allow the driver to fully load supporting your cam... Seems the drivers provided with SuSE are a bit behind the needed drivers for the cam... Perhaps this was just my issue but I tried the kernels from the dvd with same results... Hope this helps... When I try to use it under gnomemeeting I get the following error:
Error while opening device /dev/video0, channel 0. A test image will be transmitted. Your driver doesn't support YUV420 format Thanks in advance Ernesto
