Forst off, I'm running Mozilla (1.4a) as my mail client. how do I import into it my system mail? it gets tiresome having to goto the command line, when i should be able to have all accounts visible under one application
I'm not sure what you mean by "import into it my system mail". Could you clarify?
Second, the "dumb" one. I want to create a new .sig file, that will insert at the begining the following variables, $ver & $uptime. I've read the man pages, searched the web, and experimented. I know i need something like:
echo $ver echo $uptime echo (current quote/contact info)
so question 2.1, how do i output ver onto one (vs 2) line, 2.2, how do I start the (making of) script file (ie, whats equilivent to copy con {filename}), and of course, do I need to do anything special to run a script file as my .sig in zilla?
echo $ver > .signature echo $uptime >> .signature echo (current quote/contact info) >> .signature Note only one '>' in the first line, two in the rest. It's not a typo. As for using scripts in Mozilla - sorry, don't know. -- David Smith Work Email: Dave.Smith@st.com STMicroelectronics Home Email: David.Smith@ds-electronics.co.uk Bristol, England GPG Key: 0xF13192F2
