* Marino Fernandez (mjferna@yahoo.com) [030223 23:18]: ->My original posting was heavily cropped and lost it's ->intended meaning... -> ->I said that in my country there have been recent raids ->by the goverment looking for pirated MS Windows ->copies... so people is starting to switch to linux.... ->and I wanted to know if I am safe with SuSE.... I am ->breaking any law by installing a single copy in ->several machines... can I go to jail.... -> ->Somebody suggested asking suse directly... that is the ->righ thing to do... so I'll let you know. Again. I'll say this. You can copy it until your burner dies and you can install on as many machines as you like until you get sick of the YaST2 install routine. :) What you can not do is make copies of the software and sell them...giving away is fine..selling is bad. :) So YES. You are safe with doing what you asked in your original email...and no your Government and the BSA will not come banging on your door for this act. -- Ben Rosenberg ---===---===---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org Tell me what you believe..
