Go to /dev. There should be two soft links: sr0 -> cdrom and sr1 -> cdrecorder. Now type: "rm cdrecorder", "rm cdrom", "ln -s sr0 cdrecorder" and "ln -s sr1 cdrom" If you now want to install software with YaST you have to use your other drive
There's something strange here:
m8ram@linux:/dev> lh cdrecorder
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 3 2003-02-07 11:20 cdrecorder -> sr0
is as would be suspected, but:
m8ram@linux:/dev> lh cdrom
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 3 2003-02-07 11:20 cdrom -> hdc
Right now, Yast does use the cd-rom drive and not the cd-writer, what
would I have to do extra to keep that this way?
You've been a great help already!
