1. Is there any reason why I would need to change the addresses of the network cards? The addresses I picked up were the ones sugested in the SuSE support db at: http://sdb.suse.de/en/sdb/html/masq80.html. Sorry if this question sounds stupid but I'm no network expert ;->
The only way to know why it does not work is if you can send the detailed information for each machine netstat -nr Once we know the routing then we can help
2. Is there any reason to use shorewall instead of SuSE firewall? I found it very handy to configure via YaST and it seems to cover my (basic) needs (all my ports are stealthed when scanning them).
