You should probably be looking for a "Device URI" similar to "socket://<IP address of printer>:<port number>. In the KDE Printer Manager (Control Centre > System > Printing Manager) you should probably choose Network printer (TCP) in the Add new printer wizard, and take it from there. HTH Kevin
