My laptop has decided to stop booting. I'm running 8.0 mostly updated to date, but I am getting Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 03:07 The knowledgebase refers to this with different final numbers, but says pre 7.1 and says about supplying memory size in boot command - which I can't see how to change as it boots from a floppy disk. Since nothing has changed on the machine since I last booted linux ( been running W2k for a week ) what can I do to get back in? -- Lester Caine ----------------------------- L.S.Caine Electronic Services
