As I was saying in the last email. I've found that ATI 7500 for a reasonable price
I've heard good things about the 7500, but I've never tried. I think you should be good with that one though.
(twice the card for 1/2 price that my Diamond Viper 770 cost me :) and I don't have a DVD player in my computer so that's not an issue. As long as I can play a little UT and watch streaming video that looks good. I'm all good. Never understood playing DVD's or watching TV on a computer ..when I have a nice 36 inch T.V w/ a pretty nice sound system attached to it. :)
Normally I watch it on a regular TV (only 28" :() but it's good to be able to watch it on a comp too. Sometimes it can help clear your mind when you're stuck on a problem, and you don't have a 36" tv in the office, right? :) It's also good when you're on a long train journey, although the batteries doesn't last nearly as long as I'd want (I wonder how the transmeta is doing, hm) //Anders -- `When I use a word,' Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, `it means just what I choose it to mean -- neither more nor less.'
