We are using Postfix, but not MySQL. John had a problem with it, and is using Postgress. As much as I tried, I could not convince John to use SuSE. He had a bad experience with SuSE a long time ago (probably 1.0 or something). On 17 Jul 2002 at 11:32, Scott wrote:
Thank you, that is what I was doing with a custom build of Apache, but was trying to do it the Suse way since it will not run Suseconfig on the httpd.conf file once you edit it. I tried doing an include and was not able to get it to work so I went and put the entries in httpd.conf.
Are you using MySQL with Postfix at all? Coming from a sendmail shop I must say that I am impressed with Postfix, especially the config!
Thanks again.

I run a Linux server (http://www.blu.org). We support serveral virtual hosts through Apache on a single IP address simply using the structures in httpd.conf.
We found it to be a bit touchy. We also use postfix for email, and do a similar thing with the listservs.
