Hello All : I have a few questions regarding the installation of SuSE 8.0. First of all, let me say that the install program detects all my hardware, so its not a hardware issue. At first, I wanted to try the FTP installation. I have a DSL connection over PPPoE. However, I was unable to find the option to load the PPP driver in the modules disks (that I burned from the images). Is there a way to have the installation program dial a PPPoE connection to connect to the internet when installing from FTP? I decided to download the suse directory from the the FTP to a partition on my local hard disk (FAT32 formatted partition), and use the harddisk option at install. The installation program detects my partition, however, when I give it the location /suse as the source directory, it replies with the error "image file not found". Is there a way to fix this situation? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Burhan burhankhalid@members.evolt.org
