Sendmail: Refusing connections ARG!!!

Just installed 8.0. Sendmail is not accepting connections from anywhere except localhost. There is nothing blocking mail in /etc/hosts.deny. The firewall is not running. Sendmail is running. I can telnet localhost 25 and issue HELO When I try and do this from any other host, even host on the same LAN segment, I get connection refused. Nothing is logged anywhere that I can find. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, CC
