When I have an external mouse connected on my Dell I can use the XF86Config mouse driver imps/2. Then the touchpad works as well... However, without a external mouse I need to use the XF86Config ps/2 driver to get the touchpad to works. I do believe this is the same problem you have... So edit the XF86Config file to choose the right mouse driver; no external mouse use ps/2 else imps/2.... /Magnus Kirk Bollinger wrote:
I have a Toshiba laptop and I'd like to be able to use the built-in pointing device when mobile and a desktop mouse when in the office.
Any ideas on how to get this working.
So far, the mouse just goes up to the top right corner and gets stuck there until I reboot.
thanks!
