First, there is no RPM that I have heard of. Not really a need since mplayer usually compiles and runs in SuSE quite nicely. Have you done these things (from sections 1.3 and 1.4 of the MPlayer docs): downloaded and extracted the w32 codecs to: /usr/lib/win32 ./configure --enable-gui make make install downloaded and extracted a skin to: /usr/local/share/mplayer/Skin or $HOME/.mplayer/Skin to turn on GUI mode, you either 1. use the -gui option 2. specify gui=yes in your config file or 3. ln -s /usr/local/bin/mplayer /usr/local/bin/gmplayer and call gmplayer instead of just mplayer If you have done all this and still cannot get it to work, what errors are you getting?
