* Greg Hicks (ghicks@ramko.com) [020420 19:06]: ::overdrive with beeps. I install the basics (just under 300 meg) and it goes Please do the install labelled "default plus office" ..by the amount of space you have said your install has taken. I know this isn't the case. You won't get a good feel for SuSE if you have to keep shoving the CD's in every few minutes because there is something missing. I think with a 30G drive you can spare the space :) ::Chameleon GeForce3 Ti200 AGP w/64meg DDR memory Please go to http://www.nvidia.com/drivers and get the current nVidia driver for Linux. SuSE doesn't ship them because they are binary only and from there point of view a support nightmare. The default Xfree86 driver doesn't do 3D very well if at all. You can take a look through the archives of this list. I think I've explained about 30 times in the last 6 months how to install them.. Landy (RR) being the last person I indepthly explained this to. :) The do work..I can tell you this. I have EVERY Loki 3D game and a few not by Loki and they work without a hitch (my opinion..flames go to /dev/null :P ). This is the best bet for your card to work well. ::Think that wraps it up. Anything you can do to lead me back onto the path ::that is good and righteous would be appreciated! Well, I wouldn't say that it puts you on any sort of path accept the one to a good experience with Linux. :) Cheers! -=Ben --=====-----=====-- mailto:ben@whack.org --=====-- "I've never been quarantined.
