Hello all,
I have been given a Dynalink v.90 USB modem. I have plugged it into my system:

Alas the modem setup in yast2 does not detect the modem. I have found that the device falls under "acm" device types, and have a "modprobe acm" in my boot.local to force the issue.
[snip] Dale, My understanding of Linux USB support right now is that it does not work with USB modems or network cards. Almost everything else works fine (printers, scanners, MP3 players, cameras, keyboards, mice).
