If you have installed the ethernet card corectly it should have installed the microsoft net functions. This should allow you to use the net commands to map your network drive to the D: drive like you requested. It has been agaes since I have mapped a dos computer though and I can not remember the exact command off the top of my head. Austin On Wed, Dec 26, 2001 at 11:31:51PM +1100, Graham Smith wrote:

Hi all..
I know I've asked this before but I've still not figured it out. What the deal is my wife has an old 386 running M$ DOS 5.00. I added a NE2000 clone NIC card. What I need to do is fix it where she can transfer files between her system (Emil) and my main system (Tenn). She does not have Windows or Linux on her system.
I would like to set it up where she could mount my system to her's as her D: dir and then use Norton Commander to transfer files.
She will not allow me to put Windows or Linux on her system. Any simple ideas for me?
TIA!
Hi Jim, <snip>> Wisk you luck.
