Is there a way to set the text zoom (view --> text zoom) in mozilla 0.9.7 to e.g. 150% as default?
Have you tried setting a higher font size in preferences?
Yes, I did. But it didn't help much and it doesn't work for every website. I also tried to set a higher screen resolution in mozilla preferences according to Vitaly. The same results.
Mozilla is great. I just started using it. There are a few bugs, but it is far superior to the old netscape. I especially like the ability to search all email bodies for a text string; and the way it saves entire pages(graphics and all)
The problem I had with earlier versions of mozilla is that it was really hard to read the tiny fonts of some websites. Some times it helped to increase the font size sometimes not. So I was really enthusiastic about the text zoom function of mozilla 0.9.7. I would be even more enthusiastic about it if there is a way to "lock" the text zoom at 150% (as default) so I don't have to reset it to my prefered size every time when I visit an other website or restart mozilla.
