Hi! Is there a way to set the text zoom (view --> text zoom) in mozilla 0.9.7 to e.g. 150% as default? Best regards, Ming-Che -- ICQ#: 126097979

well, you may try to change screen resolution in mozilla preferences to higher value (e.g. 120dpi -- default is 96).
How about going to the popdown for view and then to text zoom? :) * Vitaly Shishakov (shift@cmpd2.phys.msu.su) [011224 13:52]: ->Ming-Che Lee wrote: -> ->>Hi! ->> ->>Is there a way to set the text zoom (view --> text zoom) in mozilla ->>0.9.7 to e.g. 150% as default? ->> ->>Best regards, ->> ->>Ming-Che ->> ->well, you may try to change screen resolution in mozilla preferences to ->higher value (e.g. 120dpi -- default is 96). -> -> -> ->-- ->To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com ->For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com ->Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq and the ->archives at http://lists.suse.com -> -----=====-----=====-----=====-----=====----- Ben Rosenberg mailto:ben@whack.org -----=====-----=====-----=====-----=====----- I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

Have you tried setting a higher font size in preferences? Mozilla is great. I just started using it. There are a few bugs, but it is far superior to the old netscape. I especially like the ability to search all email bodies for a text string; and the way it saves entire pages(graphics and all)

Yes, I did. But it didn't help much and it doesn't work for every website. I also tried to set a higher screen resolution in mozilla preferences according to Vitaly. The same results.

The problem I had with earlier versions of mozilla is that it was really hard to read the tiny fonts of some websites. Some times it helped to increase the font size sometimes not. So I was really enthusiastic about the text zoom function of mozilla 0.9.7. I would be even more enthusiastic about it if there is a way to "lock" the text zoom at 150% (as default) so I don't have to reset it to my prefered size every time when I visit an other website or restart mozilla.
