It was me that posted about the sound file preview. Yes, it does work with
mp3 files as well. Make sure that sound file preview is turned on:
Bring up a konq file browser, select 'View >> Preview' and make sure that
sound files are checked.
I don't know about .wmf files since I don't have any to test with.
As for previewing uninstalled ttf files, kfontinst can do it in a limited
fashion.

Is it possible to set konq to show thumbnails of .wmf files when in icon mode?
Also I seem to remember somebody saying recently that they got a preview of a wav file to play on mousover, how is this accomplished? Can the same be done w/ mp3's?
