Depend when he got it The original Xpert 128 use Rage 128 GL but for some reason one i got a few weeks back feature Rage 128 Pro chip (at least that's what printed on it) But old magnums (ATI Rage Fury etc.. work okay from what heard but these few a Rage 128 with out any fancy modification). Isn't the Xpert 128 actually a RageXL (Mach64) variant instead of a Rage128? If memory serves (which it almost never does), this is the case. If it's not a true Rage128, DRI will not run. Just a random question...is this an integrated device or removable? If it's removable, have you considered picking up a Voodoo3 to replace it? They're dirt cheap these days and are a breeze to configure.
