on the same topic does anyone know why my mouse is "wonky" in kde? the acceleration chages almost randomly it's hard to explain but i move at a medium pace from one side of the screen to another and the acceleration/decelleration seems a bit off in comparison to both mac and windows systems
i've fiddled with the acceleration option in the control panel but to no avail
i'm using a logitech mouseman wheel (optical, 4button) on suse7.2 ..don't know how to find out what version of kde i'm running
kde control center==> information ==> X server
Are you sure this isn't a problem with the cpu being limited or being sucked up by some other process?
CTL-esc will give you a display of what resources are being used.
