Hi Is there a known issue with kernel 2.4.0, that it does not compile... Or to be more exact, it does compile okay, but in the final step of "make bzImage" it fails. I'm able to build all modules, and install them. make bzImage gives this error: ----------- ld -m elf_i386 -Ttext 0x0 -s -oformat binary bbootsect.o -o bbootsect ls: cannot open binary: No such file or directory make[1]: *** [bbootsect] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.4.0-4GB/arch/i386/boot' make: *** [bzImage] Error 2 ------------ So I'm not able to have new kernel that would support USB... I must live with the 2.2.18 kernel, that I did compile. Any ideas? Jaska.
