This is wild! I ran konqueror from the command line with kdeinit konqueror, and it loaded all pages perfectly (well, it didn't crash, anyway :) running it by clicking on the icon still makes it crash, though. help -> about konqueror seems to say that it's the same version running, and I can't find two versions of anything KDE, so all I can say is: hm! That's kinda funny since I am right now at cnn.com which uses js in it's main page. It's not acting up for me. I think it's something beside Konq that is not right.

Whoa, that's pretty wild! I was using KDE2.2 final, compiled from scratch for the last several days, and it's been fine. I remove the /opt/kde2 directory, and install all of the KDE2.2 final RPMs from SuSE, and it now has javascript problems. I don't know what it could be.. as the javascript stuff is all internal, right?
Thanks, Steven
