-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I just installed 7.2 on a box via the following method: - - Use a SuSE 7.1 CD 1 to partition a 20 GB drive as such: - 16MB ext2 /boot - 6000MB VFAT <win> - 256MB <swap> - 13+GB Reiser / - - Install Win98 - - Install SuSE 7.2 - - Recompiled kernel to include Reiser The system used to be a 100% RedHat 6.2 box. Everytime I boot, I get 'LIL-'. I'm used to 'LI' but this is the first time I've experienced this one. I've tried commenting out 'lba32' in the lilo.conf. I've also tried using 'linear'. Neither of these have worked. I then tried changing the /boot/boot.b symlink to boot-text.b and reinstalling lilo to no avail. I'm finding this quite curious and I'm totally stumped. Has anybody else seen the same thing? - -- James Oakley Engineering - SolutionInc Ltd. joakley@solutioninc.com http://www.solutioninc.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE7eCbK+FOexA3koIgRAuv4AKCKv8YPaZQGyeNUAEhRh2fKPCUUxQCfQ64h 5y19axrDWHAgbhjQO4bVBqY= =5rEd -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
