in suse 7.2, sax2 doesn't even have the keyboard layout for my country (.be). yast1 does have it for console but how do i load manually the belgian keyboard layout in x ?

What a weird question! i configured the Belgian keyboard with Yast 1 and 2. Did you try yast 1,change configuration file... There you have the right place to change the keyboard...
