I have RP 8 installed, but Netscape isn't cooperating. I can invoke it from the command line with the URL and it works. It just won't do anything when I click on the link in NS. Any suggestions/hints?

A guess --- you installed as root. The install shell script put the library and classes in /root/.netscape/plugins. You need to run those scripts while logged in as you. There are two scripts and they are in /usr/lib/RealPlayer8 and have an extension of *.sh JLK

: I also suffered from this, but it was made clear by somebody at the Realaudio message board: use option "--ignorearch" when running rpm ('rpm -ivh --ignorearch ...'). Are you installing on AMD?
I installed RP8 on a PIII (no problem) and on an AMD K6-II (--ignorearch needed).
