I am having problems with suse 7.1 and was wondering if anyone had seen them before.
Yast 1 crashes when setting up the ethernet card.
Yast 2 also crashes when trying to set up the ethernet card error writeing to modules.conf
/etc/modules.conf is actualy named /etc/modules.conf.-
I also have many console warings about missing modules
Do you have an /etc/modules.conf, or do you just have /etc/modules.conf.- ? If you don't have /etc/modules.conf, then I would copy the modules.conf.- file to modules.conf if I were you. It can't do any harm. That should clear up most of the module errors and it might stop YaST crashing (of course, YaST may be the one removing modules.conf in the first place). If YaST still doesn't work, then you should be able to edit /etc/rc.config manually to add the appropriate entries for your network card.
