Thanks for the answer. I still find this a bit confusing. If I browse through the FTP site you point to above I see many packages with newer version numbers than the ones I have installed. Nonetheless, these more recent packages do not show up in the list of package available for update when using YaST2. Can you explain this seeming inconsistency?
As I said, see sub-directory patches/ for the info files "YOU" uses. It only shows those patches. Right now YOU has a flat display of all the patches so if we show all it get's a little crowded, so only the hard stuff like important security fixes is there.
