You can download and install mpage. works like a charm , just DL it unzip it and run the make and install script and place it in /usr/li=b or something like that. Hey If I can do it , any one can do it. Do a search on freshmeat or slashdot for it. I neede it for some prit driver stuff from the printer driver page.
that's not my point. my point is what went through SuSE's heads when they did not include mpage as an RPM. Even RedHat does that...
I think the sensible thing is to suggest this to feedback@suse.de. There might have been a reason for this, or everybody is so used to a2ps so they never thought about a need for an alternative...
