Michael This indicates a problem with your DNS / hosts Look in your /etc/hosts and ensure your localhost is pointing to the correct ip. If that looks ok , check your DNS. hth Chris --Original Message Text--- From: Stephen Kao Date: Sun, 15 Oct 2000 11:57:54 +1300 Hi everyone, I believe my problem is a very small one, because I am new to Linux, so I don't know where to change the setting. My SuSE 6.4 Linux has Apache running, and I just changed the IP address for my Linux box using YaST, after that I no longer can use loalhost to access my local website. But if I use the machine IP it will be ok. Could anyone help me on this, Thanks Stephen <FONT FACE="Arial" DEFAULT="FACE"><FONT SIZE="2" POINTSIZE="10" DEFAULT="SIZE">Michael This indicates a problem with your DNS / hosts Look in your /etc/hosts and ensure your localhost is pointing to the correct ip.
