If you are using the new KDE2 Beta 4 (1.93), you can right click the little "handle" next to the task bar (on the panel), and click "Configure." From there, you have an option to move the task bar back to the top (the menu next to the K-gear menu on the panel also lists all currently running apps). -tim ----------------------------------------------------------------- Timothy R. On the same general subject, but a different question:
In KDE1 the top panel would tell me all the open applications, regardless of the desktop (say netscape desktop 1, kmail desktop 2). With KDE2, if I am on desktop 2, I don't know wich applications are open in Desktop 1, unless I switch to 1. Is there a way of recovering the KDE1's behavior?
