Using hdparm with my old UDMA66 hd, I have just found out that it was faster with dma disabled, than with udma enabled, about 120Mbyte/sec vs 140Mbyte/sec. Nobody knows what could have been? Tazio ps: My HD was a Quantum CX 8.4 gigabyte and my controller was the one on Biostar Mk7a. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
