Hi.
Ir recommends not using lprng with pdq in the documentation. As far as upsetting the system then it doesn't since you can use either lp or pdq. When you have used pdq you can't possibly go back to the old lp!

Not yet. I must admit, I'm pretty tempted. I like the GUI tools and what not. My question is has anyone used a hybrid pdq/lprng system? I saw a site allude to this recently (may have been on the pdq home page), for systems where there is more than one host/printer. I have my Laserjet 2100 working under the default lpd, and I am a little hesitant to go messing with it.

Hi everyone.
Have the (very nice) xpdq interface running on 6.4 with my HP560c printer. I can print ascii and PS files. The documentation tells me that I can add other formats too and gives an example for jpeg. But it doesn't work.
Anyone using pdq?
Have a good weekend, Steve.
