I am having a problem with ppp daemon. When I try to connect to my ISP with my 28.800 modem, it gets connected then the daemon dies. I dont know what is the problem. I am using kppp, and the configuration is correct (accordingly to what the ISP says). My ISP is Tiscali (italian ISP). I am sending you the attachment of the error I get with kppp. Tazio Ceri <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HEAD> <META content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" http-equiv=Content-Type> <META content="MSHTML 5.00.2314.1000" name=GENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I am having a problem with ppp daemon.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>When I try to connect to my ISP with my 28.800 modem,</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>it gets connected then the daemon dies. </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I dont know what is the problem.
