I installed the latest version of apache after removing the one that came with SuSE 6.3 (2.2.13). I wanted to get rid of all the junk ( ;) ) that SuSE has added (in the config file), not to mention I want to start with the latest version of Apache. Everything works fine when I start in manually doing the following: cd /usr/local/apache/bin httpd I want this to start automagically when this machine is booted. Can someone educate me on how I can run this command in a startup script (and which one). /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd Thanks!
