If you want to check and download new package manually: (1) Go online (2) Goto Yast (3) Goto Change or Install Packages (4) Goto Install Packages (5) Press enter on the source field and choose the ftp option (6) Accept the default and press enter, this will take you to the update directory of you SuSE version on the SuSE site (7) How you can go through all the series. It will only show thw packages that you have installed and new packages. Packages that are different are marked with an o. To get further info press F2 (8) Just choose the packages that you want to install and install them.
