Or something like that.
There is an update utility for debian that will check for new versions of installed software. Is there something like that for SuSE? What I am looking for is a daemon that will either download an rpm automigically and notify me or just notify me that there is a new rpm?
Is there such a thing?
TIA, CK

Go to www.rpmfind.net and download the rpmfind utility. It's not exactly what you are looking for, but what it does is this: let's say you know the name of the package you want. You type in 'rpmfind emacs' for example, and it will search the database and return all the available packages, then it will ask you if you want to download them or not. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
