Experienced this before, turns out that the RAM module was faulty. Suggest you get another RAM module to test out before purchasing a new one. regards, Wayne Robert Del Huerto wrote:

Has anyone experienced this error before?
My Linux box had been running fine for over a month. Last night, however, it decided to crash with the above mentioned error. Poor me. I figured something might be wrong with the hard drive or with memory but I was able to boot into Windows just fine. I went as far as repartitioning the hard drive (with DOS' fdisk) and reformatting it but it still wouldn't work. I can't even boot from the Suse Linux boot disk.
Any ideas? Any suggested reading?
thanks, robert
