If your ISP is "free" they probably want to run an ActiveX application with ads while you're connected. But it's not a driver... If you signed up for a DSL connection, then DSL modem is just an external device that connects to your Ethernet card. They may refuse to _support_ you, but there's no reason for the DSL modem not to work. And again there's no driver in the picture. The bottom line, what exactly is your/ISP's problem? --ET.
