My KDE login screen is showing every user that is listed in /etc/passwd. This includes ftp, mysql, oracle, etc...It should be showing just root, and my login. Any idea why this is happening?
I think you can fix it by going to the KDE configuration program and then to Configure Login. I did something like that quite a while ago.
You can, and you have to do it as root. But Yast has it's own ideas (which is pretty dopey in my opinion - KDE handles it's login, so why does Yast feel the need to interfere?). If you change it using kcontrol, Yast will change it back next time your run suseconfig. So, change it in yast: System Admin -> Change config file -> KDM_USERS -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
