Hi Updating packages aaa_base, cron & groff for SuSE 6.3 I got the above message about /etc/modules.conf Why does this happen? Also, Kmod replaces Kerneld, but the default system has Kerneld running, is it okay to disable in /etc/rc.config or is it best to keep it running so that dependencies of modules are kept upto date or should you use disable and use depmod? I am using the default Pentium kernel 2.2.13. Is there any good documentation about Kmod? I know how Kerneld worked on 2.0.36 kernel systems but I do not fully understand Kmod and the SuSE 6.3 manual has very little on it.
